Charitable Registration & Transparency

The Howard & Carol Safir Foundation is organized as a nonprofit corporation and operates exclusively for charitable and educational purposes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

The Foundation complies with applicable charitable solicitation laws and is registered, or will be registered as required, in states where it conducts fundraising activities, including Maryland and Delaware.

Maryland Disclosure

A copy of the Foundation’s current financial statement is available upon request. Documents and information submitted to the State of Maryland under the Maryland Charitable Organizations Registration Law are available from the Maryland Secretary of State for the cost of copying and postage.

Delaware Disclosure

The Foundation is registered with the Delaware Division of Corporations and complies with applicable charitable solicitation requirements. Information regarding the Foundation’s charitable activities may be obtained upon request.
